MAD Lions Madrid to Sign Support “Tore” & Top Laner “Kackos”

Rumours are circulating that MAD Lions have signed two new players, with former Excel LEC support Tore “Tore” Hoel Eilertsen and ex-K1ck top laner Krzysztof “Kackos” Kubziakowski set to join the organization’s academy roster. The MAD Lions Academy competes in the Spanish LVP Superliga.

Tore has been playing professionally in European League of Legends for over four years, with a switch to MAD Lions signaling the end of his time in the LEC. Meanwhile, Kackos will return to the Spanish league, with the Pole having spent four months with K1ck. Tore represented the LEC during the 2019 World Championships with Splyce, with the team having since been rebranded as MAD Lions.

Why MAD Lions Opted for Tore & Kackos

Tore will follow in the footsteps of Joran “Special” Scheffer, who also left the LEC to move to Spain. The former Excel mid laner played in the Superliga for S2V. Norwegian favorite Tore is set to replace the recently departed Luis “Aesenar” Calderon. MAD Lions recently failed to qualify for the playoffs, which is why such roster changes have come about.
It is believed that MAD Lions had a host of players lined up for the support role, with Tore having seen off competition from Philipp “Lillip” Samuel Englert and Radovan “Rufus” Moravec, who play for SK Gaming Prime and eSuba respectively. The organization opted to bring in Kackos due to ERL rules.

Who Makes Up the MAD Lions Roster?

The former x6tence and Cream Real Betis player made a name for himself during the Spring Split, where he helped K1ck Neosurg in reaching the finals. Despite eventually losing out to AGO Rogue, Kackos clearly did enough to impress his new team. It is understood that he saw off competition from top laner Antonio “Rubi0o” Crus Clavel for the spot.

It now appears to be only a matter of time until the two players are unveiled in MAD Lions colors. They will join Victor “Flakked” Lirola, Alexander “Alexx” Osterlind and Jonas “knighter” Bryder on the team for the Summer Split.
