After four dreadful rounds, Fnatic closed the second week of the LEC Spring Split 2023 with two victories that gave them tremendous hope for the rest of the tournament.

Fnatic had a remarkable recovery to finish this second week. With a final score of 2-4, the oranges tied for last place alongside MAD Lions, Team Heretics, and EXCEL. However, G2’s win and Vitality’s loss left both squads tied for first place with Team BDS and SK Gaming.

SK Gaming reacts at the last minute and gets its fourth victory

Week 2 had been dreadful for an SK Gaming that looked imposing earlier, but they managed to pull off a coup by beating EXCEL Esports. After re-establishing their routine, SK was able to defeat EXCEL with ease. Draven was handled well by Thomas “Exakick” Foucou, but there is no doubt that Daniel “Sertuss” Gamani was the one who carried SK.

The German midlaner destroys once again with Akali and keeps the solid justifications for blocking the champion. Finally, EXCEL Esports is destroyed by Sertuss, who restores order in the SK Gaming ranks.

Team Heretics beats MAD Lions and takes a breather

MAD Lions is currently in the lion’s den after losing once again to LEC. Since the start of the spring season two weeks ago, the MAD Lions runner-up of the Winter Split has yet to make an appearance.

The Team Heretics’ victory over MAD Lions highlighted the players who remain doubtful again. While Javier “Elyoya” Prades cannot improve the team’s performance, Team Heretics takes advantage of the Lions’ slump to score a significant victory.

With two wins this week, Team Heretics will go into the decisive round, hoping to advance to the next round and move away from the last positions.

Astralis surprises and crushes Team Vitality

Astralis defeated Vitality with excellent solvency, and the Danish squad is happy again. A spectacular level was demonstrated by Doukan “113” Balc and Adam “LEADER” Ilyasov to deal Vitality a devastating blow.

Astralis was surprised by the destruction of Vitality’s nexus and the process by which they did it. The Danish side promised to give a good beating to a Vitality that sorely missed Zhou “Bo” Yangbo. The Chinese jungler was not appearing often enough, and the play of Kyeong “Photon” Gyu-tae was all Vitality had to offer.

G2 Esports beats Team BDS to climb to the top spot

LEC winter champion G2 Esports beat Team BDS in an action-packed game with spectacular plays.

Despite Team BDS’s tireless struggles, G2 prevailed and took the lead in the LEC. The Samurai put an end to BDS’ chance to lead alone. G2 relied on Sergen “BrokenBlade” Çelik with his Gragas to deliver a flawless performance. Juš “Crownie” Marušič, the BDS star, had a tough match thanks to the Turkish-German toplaner.

Fnatic closes with a win and dreams of a full recovery

Fnatic defeats KOI and adds a second victory that undoubtedly encourages them and gives them the confidence to change the current situation. In a game where we saw Fnatic in clear improvement again, the orange squad defeated KOI with forcefulness. Ivan “Razork” Martin outdid himself this time to give Fnatic the victory with a Vi that completely swept.

Fnatic spoils KOI’s wonderful week but does so to help themselves. The orange set seems to be working together. Although Fnatic is still bottom, they are tied with three other teams, so there is little difference between that position and the middle of the table.
