Dota 2 patch 7.32c has finally arrived but the changes feel a bit underwhelming. Given the abysmal win rates of some of the heroes and the ridiculous win rates of others, the Dota 2 community was probably waiting for a patch that could balance the situation a little bit and give buffs where buffs were due.

But just take a hero like Batrider for instance. His win rate is below 45% and what does IceFrog do? He nerfs him even more. The cast range of his Sticky Napalm has been reduced by 100 overall, the knockback distance of his Flamebreak is now 50 units smaller, and the level 10 Flamebreak talent got nerfed as well, from +75 distance to +50.

Another hero that desperately needed a buff was Templar Assassin. But IceFrog ignored her completely. Her current win rate is 44.60%, which is probably the lowest it has ever been.

Broodmother received a small buff that will help her during the laning stage. The HP regen of her Spin Web is now 5/7/9/11 instead of 3/5/7/9.

Other significant changes

Chen got punished quite severely for his high success rate in professional tournaments. In pubs, almost nobody picks this hero (1.5% of matches). But at esports events, everyone seems to love him. The bonus damage of his Holy Persuasion was reduced by 4/6/8/10 per level and the HP regen bonus of his Divine Favor is now just 1 at level 1 and 4 at level 4. That’s a huge nerf.

Death Prophet, a hero heavily used in professional matches, got nerfed again. The cooldown of her Crypt Swarm is now 1s higher at every level and the one of her Spirit Siphon is 38s at every level. Exorcism now gives just 8/12/16% movement speed. So what used to be level 2 is now level 3, which is a big nerf.

Drow Ranger no longer has a movement speed handicap. She now moves at 300 speed, like most of the other heroes.

Gyrocopter got buffed again. The CD of his Flak Cannon was reduced by 2s and its mana cost by 10 at each level.

Keeper of the Light, a hero few people pick in pubs, got slightly buffed. His Blinding Light now deals 100/140/180 damage instead of 100 at every level.

Magnus got buffed, even though he was doing perfectly fine. Shockwave now deals 15 damage more at level 1.

Heroes like Marci, Lina, Pudge, and Shadow Fiend received some well-deserved nerfs. To read all the patch notes, see the official page of Dota 2 patch 7.32c.
