The former G2 Esports player was always a spectacle in each of his matches due to his incredible talent with the AWP. All those kills he has given throughout his career are rewarded, as he has surpassed Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács as the player with the most kills in the history of LAN tournaments.

Veteran French player and, for many, considered one of the best AWPers in history, kennyS is now the professional player with the most AWP kills in LAN events.

According to the HLTV database, kennyS surpassed GuardiaN in this statistics table with 9,208 AWP kills. The French player achieved this milestone in his last match at the BLAST Paris Major Europe RMR A.

Before the qualifiers started, kennyS needed 13 kills to beat GuardiaN’s record. However, he beat this amount during the three matches against Sprout, NaVi, and MOUZ.

This record will be unbeatable for a while

The fact that kennyS has achieved this record only means that it will be unbeatable for a long period. Let’s remember that GuardiaN right now is inactive with any organization and the rest that follow in the list have fewer kills than kennyS.

Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyljev, and Aleksi “allu” Jalli are the ones following kennyS on the list. However, FalleN will likely consider retirement in the coming months, and allu is already retired. CS:GO GO GOAT s1mple, meanwhile, still has a long way to go, but he has 6,627 kills with AWP, which is 2,581 less than the Frenchman.
