Rocket League, the high-octane, physics-based sports title that combines the thrill of soccer with the speed and precision of rocket-powered cars, has a significant advantage – its gameplay is cross-platform.

Players from different platforms, such as PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC, can play together in the same online match.

Cross-platform gameplay

The cross-platform play of Rocket League was introduced to the game for the first time in 2019. Thanks to this, players can join matches with friends quickly, regardless of where they are playing.

This feature of Rocket League also extends to its online matchmaking, allowing players to compete against opponents from other platforms. The number of players has dramatically increased thanks to this feature, making it likely that users will be able to enter a match quickly and easily.

It is important to note that Rocket League users playing on PlayStation 4 cannot play with Xbox One users because Sony does not have cross-play enabled on its platform.

However, Rocket League’s cross-play feature allows users to enjoy the game with a vast audience.
