The junior player from Team Spirit Academy, Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, is currently causing quite a stir in the CS:GO scene. The 15-year-old pro started the new year with a 72% win rate in the FACEIT Pro League, catching the eye of many. The player is currently being dubbed “the new m0NESY” and has played so well that FACEIT even tweeted about him praising his achievements. And if you look at its statistics, you can understand the hype.

FACEIT lavished compliments, calling donk “one of the most dominant riflers the league has ever seen.” Since the beginning of the year, he’s averaged 27.5 kills per game with a K/D differential of 1.32. His accuracy was 67% HS – definitely impressive figures!

Donk joined the FACEIT Pro League in December 2022 and has since received praise from multiple pros. Before him, only one player of a similar age has made it into the FPL — the young prodigy Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov. m0NESY first played at Natus Vincere Junior and is currently signed to G2 Esports, with whom he became the BLAST Premier 2022 World Champion.

Donk’s statistics are impressive

His average HLTV rating for Team Spirit Academy is 1.11 and counting. In the last three months, it has been 1.20. Donk’s headshot rate is also impressive at around 60%, putting it on par with big players like Valerii “b1t” Vakhovskyi or Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken. m0NESY had similar stats in 2020 when he was 14-15 years old.

New genius in the CS:GO world?

Russian insider and pro player Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov praised the player, calling him a “genius”. He says Donk will be the first to join Team Spirit’s main lineup in case they need a new player.

“Donk is a genius. I hope he will have a great career. Because of his place of residence, school and other life problems, it is more difficult for him. While these aren’t critical issues, they can make it troublesome. I’m very happy for him.”

m0NESY was dubbed a “child prodigy” in its early days and could even live up to this reputation. Perhaps the CS:GO world has actually found a new genius in donk.

donk’s profits

Apparently, at the age of 12, donk won a LAN tournament in his hometown of Tomsk. He also played in mixed online teams, including foreign players. During his time at Team Spirit Academy, he won two online tournaments, earning approximately $10,000 in prize money. Not bad for a 15-year-old with just a year and a half into the game considering the level.
