In the chaos of the off-season, where organizations make ferocious roster changes, Immortals can take a deep breath as they complete their roster with three Korean imports and a renowned American player.

The North American organization, Immortals, has assembled the new roster around Edward “Tactical” Ra—the only survivor member of the 2023 LCS roster—bringing in  Cho “Castle” Hyeon-seong, Jonathan Armao, Lee “Mask” Sang-hun, and Kim “Olleh” Joo-sung to complete the roster.

Dignitas parted ways with four players following a lackluster LCS season, signaling the beginning of a new squad centered around the bot lane Tactical. First off the organization has acquired Jonathan Armao, the renowned  North American player who was left with a team Evil Geniuse exit from the LCS. In his decade-long career in the LCS, he had been a part of many other renowned North American organizations like Team Liquid, Cloud 9, TSM, and Jungler Delta Fox.

Joining him in the top lane will be, Korean Challengers Import Castle, who has been a member of KT Rolster Challengers roster since 2020. Since his debut, he has not achieved anything notable, despite performing well in the Challenger league. The performance of Castle, however, was enough to land him a place in Dignitas’ LCS roster for the 2024 season. As Castle moves to Immortals next year, it will be his first overseas venture, and debut at the biggest stage of the North American LoL scene.

Another Korean player joining him on Dignitas will be his former teammate, Mask, who was also a part of the KT Rolster Challengers roster in 2023. Castle and Mask competed together at the LCK CL Summer 2022 and LCK CL Spring 2022, though they failed to reach in top four at either of the events. Mask left KT for Unicorns of Love SE, where he won several B-tier events including the PRM Pokal 2023 main event and Prime League Spring 2023, along with several second-place finishes, most notably at the Prime League and EMEA Masters Spring 2023.

The organization has rounded out the roster with renowned Korean player, Olleh, who will take the support role in Immortals’s starting LCS roster. This will mark Olleh’s second stint with Dignitas, having severed a brief stint for the organization in 2016-17. Ever since making his NA debut with Immortals, he has been a mainstay in the LCS.

Following a few more successful stints with teams like Liquid, Golden Guardians, Dignitas Academy, and Golden Guardians, he was notably absent from the LCS in 2023 due to his mandatory service. He has since hit rank one in Korea and is ready to rejoin Immortals. Immortal’s new squad, which consists of a mix of young and seasoned players, seems ready for the LCK 2024 season where they will look to avenge the North American team’s miserable 2023 campaign.
