Dota 2 is a game that features more than 120 heroes. Based on the specifics of each patch, a meta is formed and some of these heroes become a lot more popular and successful than others.

Right now, in Dota 2 patch 7.34b, some heroes tend to have a huge impact on the game. Not all of them are among the most successful because victory is ultimately determined by lineup effectiveness and by how well players cooperate. But regardless of the bigger picture, these heroes are very powerful individually.

Spectre

Spectre’s win rate in Dota 2 patch 7.34 is nearly 53%. Her pick rate is 10%. This makes her a big success regardless of what she might contribute to each game. But a good Spectre player will generally have a huge contribution, as indicated by the numbers.

At the moment, Spectre is the most impactful hero in Dota 2, having a KDA of 4.32. This is a hero that is hard to kill and hard to escape from. When Haunt or Shadow Step is activated, someone on the other team usually dies. In some cases, it’s the entire team.

Spectre is very strong in the current meta because of the buffs received by her most used items: Blade Mail, Diffusal Blade, Radiance, etc.

This hero can be played in many different ways and most of them are perfectly viable. The ideal item build should be determined based on the specifics of each game.

Zeus

Zeus has a win rate of 51% and a pick rate of 11%. This hero has gone through a lot of changes over the years and is now quite powerful and highly survivable. His impact on games can be felt after just 5 minutes. One ultimate and one or more targets generally die. The KDA ratio is 4.07, which is enormous.

Zeus doesn’t get as many kills as Spectre but he does get more assists, thanks to the fact that many of his abilities deal AoE damage and hit targets with ease.

Zeus can be played both offlane and mid, and will rarely fail to have a significant impact on the game.

Invoker

Despite being difficult to play, Invoker has a KDA of 3.66 and is the third most impactful hero in Dota 2. At the community level, he gets picked in almost 20% of all games and his win rate is 52.4%.
