Heroic is playing the Roobet Cup 2023 with Chr1zN and sirah from MOUZ NXT

After a surprising and, of course, completely unexpected announcement in the last hours regarding Heroic’s roster, the team announced that it would play the Roobet Cup 2023 and the Thunderpick World Cup with two substitute players.

They are Christoffer “Chr1zN” Storgaard and William “sirah” Kjærsgaard, two talented Danish players who belong to the MOUZ academy and will play these two Tier 1 tournaments with Heroic.

This, without a doubt, became much more unexpected news than the departure of Casper “cadiaN” Møller 3 weeks ago. According to Heroic’s official statement, the former Danish IGL is leaving the team after an ultimatum from the rest of the players in the squad.

Following the controversial and, more importantly, an unexpected announcement of the departure of Martin “stavn” Lund and Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard from Heroic’s roster, the team announced that they will play Roobet Cup 2023 with Chr1zN and sirah from MOUZ NXT.

In addition to being Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen’s debut under the Heroic banner, it will also be a complicated test for the rest of the team, who will have to play with two substitute players. However, the fact that both of them are Danish makes us think that they can have a good synergy within the server as quickly as possible.

At the time of writing, Heroic is playing their match against Aurora, and the maps being played are Overpass, Nuke, and Mirage.

Leadership problems at Heroic?

Heroic’s future was left in suspense after the announcement of cadiaN’s departure from the lineup 3 weeks ago since the experienced Dane was not only the AWPer and IGL of the team, but he was also the face of the organization’s project.

However, this is not all, as many might think that, with the departure of jabbi and stavn, Heroic could bring back cadiaN to the team’s starting lineup. However, this is no further from the impossible reality, as the latest reports point out that the experienced Dane is close to joining Team Liquid.

The team’s future is indeed in jeopardy, as they are without three players who were instrumental in their recent success. However, it is also fair to mention that the team will not be playing a major tournament like a Major or something like that in the coming weeks. As a result, they would have a bit of leeway to work out these issues.
