Guide to using ring consoles in Apex Legends

With the release of Apex Legends Season 16, the fourth anniversary of the FPS has undoubtedly been a great success. The game modes, weaponry, and maps have been modified. In addition, the developers have included many skins for players to choose from and include in their collection.

Ring consoles are one of the most recent updates to the game. These fantastic tools are scattered around the environment, but they are useless if you don’t know how to use them.

What are ring consoles?

Apex Legends Ring Consoles are a series of special terminals that can be found scattered throughout the map. These consoles are activated when a player stands on them and interacts with them.

When a player activates a Ring Console, they gain access to several special abilities such as:

• A shield
• Improved movement speed
• Unique attacks

These special abilities can give players an advantage in battle. In addition, they can be used to quickly traverse the map, allowing players to reach objectives and complete tasks faster.

How to use ring consoles in Apex Legends?

Ring consoles can only be used by certain legends, such as:

• Catalyst
• Caustic
• Rampart
• Wattson

Only legends that belong to the controller class can interact with ring consoles. It’s as easy as looking around until you find one, approaching it, and interacting.

To interact with a ring console, approach it and press the F key on your keyboard. An interface will appear, allowing you to select the console’s functions. These functions vary from console to console, but generally speaking, they can provide you with information about the current state of the game, such as:

• The location of the ring
• The current battle status
• Any active events or challenges

When interacting with the ring consoles, you must hold the button on your console or PC until the end of the sequence. Once finished, a voice message will prompt you. When finished, look at your map to find the location of the next ring.

It is important to note that you cannot use all the rings on the machine; you can only use them once per ring. Therefore, you must find the other ring consoles once each previous ring is finished.

Using the ring consoles allows you to plan your strategies, giving you an advantage in battle. You will find yourself in a better position and have the option to decide how to get to the next ring console.

But keep in mind that the problem with interacting with the ring consoles is that you are exposed. Therefore, your teammates must watch your controller while accessing the central computer.
