Respawn reveals that the new season of Apex Legends will arrive next February 14, and we at Fragster will tell you everything that is known about this new game update.

Everyone in the Apex community knows how long season 15 of the game has lasted. However, with the announcement of season 16, EA has presented some of the significant changes that the game will have, which is baptized as Revelry.

Without further ado, let’s get to know all the changes that the new season of Apex Legends will bring.

New Classes

Undoubtedly, the main changes for Apex Legends season 16 will be implementing new classes within the game. These classes allow players to have and learn different skills depending on the character they select.

Starting next season, the new legends classes will be:

  • Assault (Maggie, Bangalore).
  • Skirmisher (Pathfinder, Mirage)
  • Recon (Bloodhound, Crypto)
  • Control (Caustic)
  • Support (Wolf, Lifeline)

This means that characters will now be organized according to their class. In addition, they will take on new abilities and change existing ones. Likewise, there is still not much information about these changes, but there is no doubt that this will forever change how we choose the characters in a game.

Character changes

As in any major update of different games, EA and Respawn announced nerfs and buffs on some characters to create more balanced and enjoyable games for players. Wraith and Pathfinder will be upgraded to move at greater distances and speeds. Valkyrie and Bloodhunt will have some nerf in their abilities. Finally, Lifeline, Horizon, and Mirage will have essential changes in their abilities.

Team Deathmatch

In addition to changes to characters, changes to Apex Legends game modes were announced. One of the modes to be introduced will be one of the most acclaimed by the community, Team Deathmatch.

In this game mode, players can select pre-built weaponry before starting matches. In addition, the games will be played in 6v6 mode.

On the other hand, Team Deathmatch will be played on a much more limited map than Battle Royale. The maps will probably be small areas of the giant Battle Royale map, but, limited.

This game mode will be available 24/7, while those such as Control and Gun Run will be subject to a rotation that starts three weeks after the launch of Apex season 16. In this way, players can change the airs in Battle Royale, practice some new skills and, above all, have fun differently.

New weapon

Undoubtedly, one of the most anticipated changes by the community is the arrival of a new weapon to the game. In this case, we have the Nemesis Burst, an energy weapon that fires bursts of four bullets. Unfortunately, there is still not much information about it, so we cannot give more details.
