Gorgc seems destined to promote to WEU Division I

Janne “Gorgc” Stefanovski is one of the most popular Dota 2 streamers in the world. A large percentage of the game’s community knows him and in recent years, he’s done a lot of commentaries for the big events, on his Twitch channel. But at the same time, he has played professionally for Team Bald Reborn.

This team is currently competing in Western Europe’s Division II. This is not a bad league to be in, considering the fact that Western Europe is by far the strongest region in Dota 2 right now. But Bald Reborn want more, and they are likely to get it in Tour 1 of Dota Pro Circuit 2023.

Bald Reborn’s mission

Bald Reborn will compete against seven teams in the first Tour of the new season. These teams are listed below:

• Ancient Tribe
• Alliance
• D2 Hustlers
• IVY
• Water Rune Enjoyers
• Ooredoo Thunders
• Monaspa

By far, the strongest team in this league is Alliance. Under the leadership of Gustav “s4” Magnusson, Alliance are likely to dominate every other competitor and get promoted to Division I. But apart from them, Bald Reborn have no real adversary. And the experience they’ve accumulated in the past two years will likely help them to finish second.

One thing that makes Bald Reborn one of the favorites in WEU Division II is the fact that Aliwi “w33” Omar joined the team in December and replaced Steve “Xcalibur” Ye. This is a famous midlaner who competed in two Grand Finals of The International. Very few players have achieved such results in their careers.

With w33 in the mid lane, Bald Reborn’s strength has increased significantly. Not only are they more versatile and more capable of using game-winning last picks (such as Meepo and Invoker). They’re also better equipped to use an aggressive playstyle.

Against most novice teams, the best strategy is to attack relentlessly and ruin their plans. If they need to respond to your actions at all times, you can dictate the pace of the game and just win with superior tactics.

Gorgc’s experience

Gorgc joined Bald Reborn in July 2019. He is by far the oldest member of the team and his ability to play the carry role is quite good. However, Gorgc is not exactly a world-class position 1 player. He started to play the game professionally near the end of 2016 and compared to other carry players, he’s much less experienced.

But that doesn’t mean that he can’t carry. In fact, at this competitive level, he’s easily one of the best at his role.
