Gen.G has put together a superteam for LCK 2024

Son “Lehends” Si-woo’s return to Gen.G for the LCK Spring 2024 marks a significant shift in the team’s dynamics and strategy.

After his previous stint with KT Rolster, where he achieved notable successes including third-place finishes in both Spring and Summer 2023 and a joint-fifth position at Worlds 2023, Lehends’ comeback is highly anticipated.

Gen.G’s roster for the upcoming season is a blend of seasoned players and new talent. Notably, Lehends will be joined by his former teammate from KT Rolster, top laner Kim “Kiin” Gi-in. The roster also sees the retention of key player Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon, the mid laner who played a crucial role in Gen.G’s consecutive LCK championships in season 13.

Canyon’s move from Dplus KIA (formerly DAMWON Gaming) is noteworthy as it ends his five-year association with the team, marking his first switch since his debut in 2018.

Lehends is particularly renowned for his performance as a support player, gaining fame for his exceptional Singed plays and innovative builds during seasons 7 and 8, and earning the LCK Summer MVP title in Summer 2023.

Gen.G, under this new lineup, hopes to replicate or surpass their impressive performance from season 13, where they secured back-to-back championships in the Spring and Summer of 2023.
