G2 Esports and Team Secret have qualified for the R6 South Breach Finals after topping the Europe League Qualifier table with eleven and seven points respectively.

The R6 South Breach Finals Qualifier 2023 G2 is a highly anticipated event in the world of Rainbow Six Siege. As one of the most competitive tournaments in the game, it attracts top teams from around the world to compete for the coveted championship title.

G2 and Team Secret dominate the matches

The R6 South Breach qualifier saw Tubarão played for the first time in Europe by top-tier teams, as the Portuguese operator was banned on three of the ten maps played.

There were also changes to one lineup and fans saw Team Secret play for the first time with Marc “Jume” Steinmann, Oscar “Oscr” Deacon and Jordan “Kayak” Morley. The debut was definitely worth it.

G2 started the qualifying tournament with a match against Into The Breach and won with a very clear 7:1. Virtus.pro won against Rogue with 7:3.

After the first set of matches, G2 defeated Team Secret after maximum overtime. The match against G2 was Secret’s only loss of the tournament, while the Europeans took second place after victories over Rogue, Virtus.pro and ITB.

G2 Esports’ victories saw them qualify for the R6 South Breach Finals, as did Team Secret. The R6 South Breach Finals will be held next year in January.

Format and prize money for R6 South Breach Finals

The R6 South Breach Finals Qualifier 2023 will decide which team will advance to the BLAST R6 Europe League. The competition will be fierce and only the best teams will make it to the top.

The tournament will consist of 8 teams, including two teams from the BLAST R6 Europe League, two teams from the Nationals and four teams from the local and open qualifiers.The teams will compete in a double elimination round, with each game being a best-of-three.

The tournament will take place next year and will be broadcast on R6 South Breach’s official Twitch channel. The tournament is endowed with prize money of €40,000.
