Ahead of the playoffs of ESL Pro League S18, we spoke to KSCERATO from FURIA Esports and asked him a few questions. Here’s the interview:

In your group match against Movistar Riders, you had an unbelievable individual performance. But your team still lost. Did any of your teammates feel bad for not being able to help you a bit more in that match?

I don’t think they said something. But we joked about it.

Does your team put you in favorable positions to get such good scores?

Not really. I simply play positions that I’m good at.

How would you describe FalleN’s style as an IGL?

He’s great. His style is good for me because it’s aggressive and I’m a lurker.

Many regard FURIA as the underdog in this next match against MOUZ. What do you think?

Every game is going to be tough. There are no easy games here.

When the opponent is perceived to be stronger than you, does that put additional pressure on you?

No. I don’t really care. I just play my game.

Your best performance this year came at IEM Rio. Why do you think that your team performs much better in Brazil than in other countries?

We have a lot of support there and we’re familiar with the weather, the food, and everything else.

Do you train harder before such events?

It depends on what we need. The coach is the one who makes these decisions. And FalleN as well.

What do you think of CS2 so far?

It’s going to be a great game. I’m excited to play it. I have a lot of new ideas to bring to the team.

Are you worried about spray control?

No. I played a lot of games and spray control is not a problem.

Ok. Thank you for the interview and good luck at the tournament!

Thank you!
