World-renowned in-game leader Pujan “FNS” Mehta talked about which teams he thinks will represent the Americas region in the VCT Masters Shanghai tournament. He predicted that three of four teams would qualify for the next international event.

There will be 12 participants in VCT Masters Shanghai 2024. Three teams from four regions will qualify for the event. Here are the teams FNS thinks will compete in China from the Americas region. These teams are ranked in no particular order.

FNS thinks three of these four candidates will make it through:

  • Sentinels
  • LOUD
  • NRG
  • Leviatan

Sentinels

Sentinels returned to the Americas region as the most recent world champions. It seems like all five players are peaking simultaneously, and it’s hard to count them out. They have already proven themselves on the international stage, so it is a safe prediction to say they will qualify for Shanghai.

LOUD

LOUD accompanied the Sentinels in the VCT Masters Madrid tournament as the second Americas representative. According to FNS, LOUD has just proven too much to be counted out. Less is looking to be the best Valorant player in the world, and saadhak’s experience will surely carry LOUD to a qualification.

NRG

NRG is the newest star-studded Valorant roster filled with world champions in the team. However, they failed to qualify for Madrid after losing to Sentinels, who went on to win the entire event. Now that NRG has had time to gel together, they are considered a favorite to dominate the Americas region.

Leviatan

However, Leviatan currently looks like the best team in the region. Aspas, considered the best Duelist in the world, is returning to form and dominating. He dropped a record-breaking 47 kills against Sentinels, and Leviatan demolished NRG in the most recent confrontation.

After watching matches in the VCT Americas region, FNS claims that these four names are miles above the remaining teams in the region. “There’s just no room for anybody else. Those teams are just too far ahead,” said the streamer.

However, FNS continues, “As a content creator, I would love for a random team to make it. I actually, genuinely want to be wrong. I hope a team like 100Thieves or Cloud9 makes it because it would be so fun to watch, but it’s just such a low chance that it happens.”

As of now, Sentinels, Leviatan, and NRG are performing relatively well. However, LOUD currently sits 0-2 in the Group Stage after losing to Cloud9 and NRG.
