One of the most important Dota 2 tournaments will be held in Lima, Peru, and ticket sales for the first phase began on January 13. This began at 2 p.m. (GMT-5), but the tickets were sold in less than 10 minutes.
This was made known through a tweet by the executive director of 4D Esports, the company that organizes the Lima Major 2023.
“And 9 minutes after opening the first batch of tickets for Lima Major, we are Sold Out! Stay put in case tickets get sent back because people have 10 minutes to pay, but if you can’t get your tickets now, we will launch the second batch next Friday. SA community, you are amazing!”

There is no doubt that this event promises to be the one that positions Peru and, consequently, the SA region at a much higher level. And there is no doubt that proof of this has been the first stage of ticket sales.

It is not known exactly how many tickets have been sold
While it is true that there is still no exact information about how many tickets were sold in the first phase. The fact that it was sold out so quickly shows the interest of the Peruvian community in Dota 2.
Likewise, different resellers (who never missed any significant event) were detected, who took advantage of the event to sell their tickets at exorbitant prices. Well, we can already see them on different platforms.
I didn’t have the opportunity to buy tickets
Don’t be alarmed if you cannot buy tickets in the first phase! You still have a chance to attend this great event. As mentioned above, tickets will be sold in four phases. In addition, VIP tickets will always be available, but you should remember that they will be a bit more expensive.
