Team Arkosh’s Febby managed to destroy his career with a couple of THC gummy bears. Before an official game in North America, he decided to snack on some candy containing the substance found in marijuana, while the match went downhill steeply. Consequently, the player made a fool of himself in front of everyone and ruined his career because of his unprofessional behavior.

Kim “Febby” Yong-min used to be a household name in the Dota 2 scene. In 2016, he and his team MVP Phoenix finished 5th & 6th at the biggest Dota 2 tournament The International, taking home a lot of cash.

But after this gigantic success, he was never able to build on this peak again and the player slowly disappeared. Like many veterans, he also streams on Twitch. You can find him under the name “Febbydoto”, but he did not find much approval there.

Team Arkosh and Febby

Recently, however, Febby wanted to give Dota 2 another try, so he teamed up with four other players to play as Team Arkosh. The Arkosh line-up consisted of: Febby, Jaron “monkeys-forever” Clinton, Max “qojqva” Bröcker, Zakari “Zfreek” Freedman, and Steve “Xcalibur” Ye.

Team Arkosh had supposedly massive line-up problems after their player and Captain Febby decided to eat cannabis gummies just before a match against Team Fart Studios while Team Arkosh was in the Open Qualifier in hopes to qualify for DPC, meaning there was a lot at stake for the team.

Player snacks on THC gummies and drives team into a disaster

THC edibles are legal in Canada, but still, they will get you high. Allegedly, Febby had consumed around 40 mg of THC before the match and what happened next led to a disaster: the player became more and more confused over time, could no longer achieve anything in the game, danced, laughed, and clapped wildly in his chair, while seemingly really getting on the nerves of his teammates, apart from the fact that he embarrassed himself in front of the whole scene.

The team didn’t play well, which is not surprising when the captain is not behaving professionally and responsibly. Arkosh still made it into the closed qualifiers, but their problems only grew as they got closer to the end. Qojqva and xcalibur were getting more and more upset until they started fighting.

After this THC fail, Team Arkosh decided to part ways and all players are now single-handed again.
