Eyeballers Exclude Krimz and Fnatic from Qualifiers

Fnatic and Eyeballers faced off in the first open qualifier for the major in Copenhagen. The match was a best-of-one, with the loser being eliminated from the qualifying round. The map chosen for the game was Overpass.

Eyeballers started off strong, winning the pistol round thanks to a one-on-one clutch by Jesper “JW” Wecksell. However, they lost a round at a score of 3-0 and soon Fnatic turned the tide, finishing their CT-side with a 7-5 lead. Freddy “Krimz” Johansson and his Fnatic ultimately emerged victorious, eliminating JW and his Eyeballers from the qualifier. Despite the loss, Eyeballers and the rest of the Swedish team will have more chances to qualify for the major.

Eliminated from the first qualifying round

Eyeballers missed their first chance to advance to the closed qualifier after losing to Krimz and Fnatic in a close match. Despite winning a new pistol round, Fnatic managed to secure a victory with a score of 13-11. The open qualifier is the first of four qualifiers that will be played, where four teams from each will advance to the closed qualifier. The teams that will play in the major in Copenhagen in March will be determined at the closed qualifier.
