ESL Impact Season 4 Finals relocates to Valencia

The popular esports event organizer ESL FACEIT Group announced through its official blog that the ESL Impact Season 4 Finals would be played in Valencia, Spain, instead of Germany as originally scheduled.

Over the last few seasons, the popularity of the ESL Impact League has been growing exponentially, which is why the organizers are trying to generate a much greater impact concerning this women’s league. In addition, bringing the event to such a beautiful city and, of course, with experience organizing this kind of event is also a great success for the EFG.

ESL FACEIT Group announces relocation of ESL Impact Season 4 Finals

Through an official statement on its blog and Twitter, the ESL FACEIT Group announced that the ESL Impact Season 4 Finals would be held in Valencia, Spain, from December 8-10, 2023.

As mentioned, this event was originally scheduled to take place in Hannover, Germany, from December 15-17. However, with the mission to “better accommodate” the ESL Impact League circuit with respect to other global CS:GO events, ESL has decided to relocate and reschedule the tournament. Moreover, it was also announced that it would be held in conjunction with DreamHack Valencia.

On the original dates of the tournament, usually the last matches of the CS:GO season are being played, and, in order to avoid these clashing with each other, these modifications have been made. In addition, this would make the tournament much more accessible to the ESL Impact League community. Specifically, on the original tournament date, DreamHack Hannover will also be taking place, which will feature the ESL CS:GO Challenger event.

Finally, EFG details that the structure, the schedule, and the prize pool to be distributed remain the same.

ESL Impact League 2023

At the end of 2022, the ESL FACEIT Group announced the roadmap for the ESL Impact League 2023 season. At that time, we noted the distribution of tournaments to be held in the year, which includes the already contested IEM Katowice and two additional seasons which will have their finals at DreamHack events.

As announced in the roadmap and the recent announcement, the prize pool for all tournaments in the 2023 ESL Impact League season will be $400,000. However, we must add the various monthly tournaments (2 per month) with a total prize pool of $100,000.

The top eight women’s CS:GO teams are preparing to compete in DreamHack Dallas, specifically in the Season 3 finals. This event will take place June 2-4. Then, from September to October, the next season of the ESL Impact League will be played, and the grand finals will be played in Valencia.
