In the last few hours, one of the most important organizations in the CIS CS:GO scene, Entropiq, announced their new CS:GO lineup for the second half of the season and, above all, for the transition to CS2.

Undoubtedly, the announcement may surprise many in the community, as Entropiq was known in recent seasons for maintaining a Russian core in their CS:GO lineup. However, they now have a completely international lineup headed by experienced German IGL and former BIG player, Tizian “tiziaN” Feldbusch.

Entropiq’s mission is clear: to return to a Major immediately. As a result, this international lineup makes all the sense in the world.

Entropiq announce new CS:GO lineup

Through a post on its Twitter account, Entropiq announced its new CS:GO lineup ahead of the second half of the season and, above all, the transition to CS2. Recall that the organization decided to make these moves to be a very strong team in the European region and achieve the qualification for the next Major, which will be played on CS2.

As mentioned, the lineup will be led by the experienced German IGL, tiziaN, but it will also feature:

  • Luka “c0llins” Živanović
  • David “forsyy” Bílý
  • Blagoi “oxygeN” Dimitrov
  • Max “Marix” Kugener
  • Niclas “enkay J” Krumhorn – Head Coach

Undoubtedly, the organization has its sights set on the first Major in the CS2 era, which will be played in March 2024 and hosted by PGL. However, it is worth remembering that Entropiq was recurrently in several Majors during the 2021 and 2022 seasons when they had their all-Russian lineup. However, since the middle of 2022, the team’s performance started to decline in a big way, and they decided to restructure the squad for the start of the 2023 season, but things didn’t turn out in the best way either.

About the new signings

The 21-year-old Czech AWPer Forsyy was the first player to be announced by Entropiq in the team’s new international lineup. Forsyy comes from playing for SINNERS Esports during the 2022 season and the first part of 2023 but was benched in May. However, the AWPer was, and by far, SINNERS’ best player throughout his time with the team and had a 1.18 Rating, according to HLTV.

tiziaN comes to Entropiq as the latest signing, but it is worth noting that he has the squad’s highest profile. The German IGL comes from leading BIG for the last five years of his career, where he won the DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 and other Tier 2 tournaments. In addition, he was also part of the team that climbed to #1 in the CS:GO world rankings in 2020.

enkay J also belonged to BIG in 2021, as he was Head Coach for a short time for the German squad. Finally, we have c0llins, oxygeN, and Marix, three promising young players who don’t have much experience in the top tier of CS:GO. However, it is worth noting that Marix was a starter for Sprout in some matches in 2022. c0llins played for Partizan in different Tier 2 and 3 tournaments. Finally, OxygeN arrives from the OG Academy.
