While it’s true that the LoL scene in NA is in a lot of trouble, especially after the LCS players decided to go on hiatus, it’s not all bad news. Disguised Toast, the popular content creator with a League of Legends team in the NACL, will reveal its lineup in a showmatch in the coming hours.

Many rumors exist about which players will be part of Disguised’s LoL team. However, nothing is confirmed yet, as the content creator saves it up to do it in a big way in a game.

Disguised will reveal its LoL lineup in a showmatch

Through its official Twitter account, Disguised Toast announced that today, Thursday, June 1, 2023, a showmatch will be played between the new DSG lineup and Deltafox to reveal the five players who will be part of the squad in the NACL.

Who are these players that Disguised has so far kept under wraps?

According to Sander Hove, a well-known esports journalist in the NA scene, Disguised would have a lineup full of experienced players and some emerging talents.

As we can see, the lineup that DSG would have for the NACL is as follows:

  • Aaron “FakeGod” Lee
  • Tristan “Zeyzal” Stidam
  • Tomio “Tomio” Chan
  • Young Ho “Young” Choi
  • Brandon “Meech” Choi

FakeGod and Zeyzal are very experienced players in the LCS scene, while the rest are up-and-comers that must be followed from now on. Finally, it is also rumored that the team will have as Head Coach Greyson “Goldenglue” Gilmer, one of the most veteran and recognized coaches in the LCS.

About Goldenglue

There is no doubt that Goldenglue is a well-known character within the North American League of Legends competitive scene. The now 26-year-old coach played for Dignitas, Complexity, Team Coast, Echo Fox, Golden Guardians, Team Liquid, Evil Geniuses, and Cloud9.

Goldenglue decided to retire from the League of Legends competitive scene in 2020 and jumped to become the coach of the popular LCS organization, 100 Thieves. While he coached many veterans of the scene who are now retired, such as Milan “Tenacity” Oleksij and Fatih “Luger” Güven, he was also responsible for developing a lot of talent in the North American team.

Disguised could help revive the LCS

There is no doubt that Disguised Toast has a great fan base, which it can use to help the LCS or, in this case, the NACL rise from the ashes. With the departure of many top-tier organizations from the Challengers scene, players in the NA region are concerned that there is no clear path to arrive at the region’s top competitive level, the LCS.

However, this new team, Disguised, could attract a lot of attention again, both from the gaming community and new sponsors, and why not, some of these top-tier organizations could return.
