Call of Duty League Championship 2023: All you need to know

The 2022/23 Call of Duty League season is just days away, and the top eight teams will play in the CDL Championship 2023 to fight for a share of the juicy $2,380,000 prize pool.

The CDL Championship brings together the teams that performed the best throughout the five Majors. However, it is worth noting that right now, we have four teams favored to lift the championship trophy:

• Atlanta FaZe
• OpTic Texas
• NY Subliners
• Toronto Ultra

Likewise, the teams know very well that they can’t be trusted in this type of tournament, as anyone can take the victory.

CDL Championship 2023 – Details

The CDL Championship 2023 will be played from June 15-18, 2023, and has the participation of the top eight teams of the season, which are as follows:

• Atlanta FaZe
• OpTic Texas
• NY Subliners
• Toronto Ultra
• LA Thieves
• Minnesota RØKKR
• Boston Breach
• Seattle Surge

Although OpTic Texas failed to win a Major during the 2023 season, they are one of the favorites. OpTic showed a great level throughout the season, and they also became the first team to win two qualifiers in a row with a perfect 5-0 record. The NY Subliners were the only team to win two Majors this season, while Atlanta FaZe, Toronto Ultra, and LA Thieves won the other three.

Format and Schedule of the CDL Championship 2023

As mentioned, the CDL Championship 2023 will be played from June 15-18, 2023, next weekend. The tournament will be played in a Double Elimination Bracket format, with all matches being best-of-five (BO5), except for the grand final, which is best-of-nine (BO9).

• Toronto Ultra vs. LA Thieves – 01:30 CEST

The table is set for all eight teams and all CDL fans to enjoy the end of the 2023 season in the CDL Championship.
