Following the end of the closed qualifiers in North America and South America, the team list for the BLAST.tv Paris Major Americas RMR has been finalized.

With these results confirmed, 16 squads are now set to enter the American RMR, which will run from April 5-9 and feature five spots at the Paris Major. As the results of the Oceanic, Asian, and Chinease qualifiers are also out, six teams have locked their spot at the Asia Pacific RMR. Here are the complete results of the Paris Major closed qualifiers:

North American Closed Qualifier Result

The North American favorite Complexity and paiN Gaming have made their way through the RMR with an undefeated 3-0 record. MIBR, Detonate, and yur were next to advance to RMR with a 3-1 record, as they registered three victories in the closed qualifier.

The emerging team Nouns destroyed ATK in their 2-2 encounters to automatically qualify for the Americas RMR due to their superior Bucholz score among the groups that went 3-2. TeamOne, the final team from North America to make it to the RMR, beat Evil Geniuses in the tie-bracket game to complete the list.

On the other hand, the outcome puts Evil Geniuses in a bad spot as they ruined all of their chances to qualify for the Americas RMR. This is yet another unfortunate outcome for the organization, which has been struggling to compete successfully against international rivals for a while.

South American Closed Qualifiers Results

BESTIA, who’d been considered the underdog going into the competition, dominated the South American qualifications, smashing Fuscão 1500, O Plano, and ODDIK to finish the closed qualifiers with a 3-0 record. The Brazillian CS:GO powerhouse and fan favorite Imperial Gaming achieve a similar result as they secure three-consecutive victories to qualify for the RMR undefeated.

After having a brilliant start in the event, the BLAST Premier: Fall American Showdown 2022 champions, Fluxo lost a crucial match against Imperial. Still, they managed to win their subsequent matchup against 9z to advance one step closer to their first Major appearance.

The closed qualifiers also saw a few new teams making a huge splash in the Brazillian CS:GO scene. Fuscão, Paquetá, and Flamengo all recovered from their respective defeat in the initial rounds and emerged victorious in the 2-1 round of matches to register their name in the list of teams qualified for the RMR.

After facing two-consecutive defeats, the two-time Major winner Marcelo “coldzera” David and Epitácio “TACO” de Melo managed to put 00Nation back on track. They crushed  INTZ and Arctic eSports before defeating O Plano in the tie-breaker to claim their third consecutive victory and a spot at the American RMR.

After completing their run in the closed qualifiers, IHC and Eruption punched their tickets to the BLAST.tv Paris Major Asia RMR. IHC entered the Asia qualifier as the overwhelming favorite because of their 9th–12th-place finish at IEM Katowice, which made them the world’s No. 19 CS:GO team.

The team exceed fans’ expectations and finished their run at the closed qualifiers undefeated, crushing Kintsugi, Team VLADIVOSTOK, and Eruption en route to the RMR. Eruption bolstered their chances of making it to the BLAST.tv Paris Major with a 2-0 victory over NKT in the consolidation final. As players continued their run of good form in the final, the Mongolian roster clinched a spot at the RMR with 16-12 wins on Ancient and 16-7 wins on Mirage.

Oceanic Qualifier

Grayhound cemented their status as the top team in the region and clinched the first of two open RMR spots with victories over KZG, Antic, and Encore in the upper bracket of Oceania closed qualifiers.

The second team to guarantee a spot at the Asia-Pacific RMR in Mongolia were VERTEX. In the consolidation final, the Australians beat Encore 16-8 on Vertigo before taking care of business with a 16-7 victory on Mirage to complete their lower bracket run.

Chinese Qualifier

Rare Atom defeated Lynn Vision in the upper bracket final to win the Chinese Closed qualification and a seat at the Asia-Pacific Finals. The second and last team to make it to the RMR from the Chinese closed qualifier were TYLOO.
