It’s no secret that the Call of Duty League is full of talent, experienced or young, but this 2022 season, we had a spectacular season with brilliant players who made an unparalleled CDL.

From those players who started the year off on the right foot to those who pulled off a surprise in the last few months, there were many spectacular moments in this 2022 Call of Duty: Vanguard season.

Best CoD players of 2022

We are just three days from the end of 2022 and the start of a new season of Modern Warfare 2, so there is no better time to highlight the season’s best players.

It is worth noting the fact that these same players will be the ones who will be in the spotlight during the 2023 season of Modern Warfare 2. This is because all the fans and organizations will watch to see if they can repeat their success in Vanguard.

Kenneth “Kenny” Williams

At only 23 years of age, Kenneth “Kenny” Williams has been labeled as his team’s superstar, Los Angeles Thieves, after demonstrating an exceptional level of play in Call of Duty: World War 2.

From this moment on, Kenny has not stopped demonstrating a spectacular level of play, winning different honorable mentions.

Kenny has been an absolute beast in this 2022 season, with the title Call of Duty: Vanguard. Not only did he win his first championship ring, but he also won the MVP trophy in the Los Angeles Thieves’ victories in the Stage 4 Major and Champs.

However, Kenny was not always at the top level in Vanguard, as at the beginning, we saw how he struggled to get into the rhythm of the game, which forced him to change his role within the team.

McArthur “Cellium” Jovel

McArthur “Cellium” Jovel is one of the players who continued to shine thanks to his infinite talent in the game, despite his team’s failure to archive significant trophies.

This is the case of Atlanta FaZe, a team that failed to win a single tournament in the Call of Duty: Vanguard era, but Cellium has proven to be on a much higher level since joining the team in 2020.

The team finished in second place in the vast majority of Vanguard season events, but this was not for lack of talent, for Cellium was one of the best rifflers in the world throughout this title, even when the team was losing.

Amer “Pred” Zulbeari

Amer “Pred” Zulbeari is the first and only player in the Call of Duty League to come from the Oceanic region and win a championship trophy at any event.

The Seattle Surge was among the best teams during the Call of Duty: Vanguard season. They even managed to win the Toronto Major in mid-2022.

There is no doubt that the vast majority of the team’s victories, including the Toronto Major, were thanks to the spectacular performances of Pred. This excellent player can carry his team no matter their situation.

It is not for nothing that the CDL decided to give him the Rookie of the Year award for the Call of Duty: Vanguard season.

Brandon “Dashy” Otell

Dashy is similar to Cellium, as OpTic Texas had many ups and downs during the Call of Duty: Vanguard season.

This superteam, thought to be winning everything during the season, started with a flawless victory in the Stage One Major. But, then, OpTic couldn’t climb higher than the middle of the leaderboard, so they couldn’t keep fighting to be at the top.

In the same way, Dashy continued to demonstrate, match after match, his excellent competitive level. In addition, whenever he can, he confirms that he is one of the best players using assault rifles in the CDL.

Dashy would show up at any time; he was always there to hold his team’s hand, even when OpTic was not ahead on the scoreboards. Likewise, his teammates always count on Dashy to win their matches.
