As it has been made known, benjyfishy, one of the world’s most popular Fortnite players, decided to leave Battle Royale to play one of the world’s most popular FPS, VALORANT.
After leaving his lifelong team NRG and entering free agency pursuing his dream of becoming a professional VALORANT player, Benjy “benjyfishy” Fish has signed with Enterprise Esports for 2023.
Enterprise Esports
Enterprise Esports, a Czech-Slovak organization, has a roster of mainly local players, i.e., Czech nationals.
Likewise, a few hours ago, they officially announced the signing of Benjyfishy to their VCL East lineup: It comes after a successful preparation event at the Grunex Challenge No. 2 last weekend.
Legendary Fortnite player @benjyfishy has switched to Valorant and decided to play VCL East: Surge with us! The team has been training together for a while and we believe it will be a great show. Good luck! pic.twitter.com/8tSxfSF5oS

The team managed to win the Grunex Challenge No. 2 undefeated and without losing a single map along the way. The three games they played had a score of 2-0.
Benjyfishy stood out mainly with Killjoy and Viper, but we observed a player with impressive Team Play. The former professional Fortnite player was able to support his teammates Minny and aelxiiik, who were the best players on the team.

It is true that this addition of benjyfishy to Enterprise Esports does not seem to be long-term and is most likely only for the VCL East: Surge. But this could change depending on the team’s results in this tournament.
VCL East: Surge
Enterprise Esports was the first team announced for the VCL East: Surge. This tournament will feature teams from Poland, Hungary, Greece, and Slovenia, among others.
Acend is the most outstanding team of all the participants, as it is the first VALORANT world champion team. Likewise, it is unlikely that the team will compete with the players who lifted the championship trophy in Berlin in 2021.
Another competing organization will be B8 Esports, a team created by Dendi, a legend in the Dota 2 competitive scene. However, like Acend, they do not yet have a lineup for this event.

2023 for Benjyfishy and Enterprise
Benjyfishy and Enterprise will play a regular season where the eight participating teams will play against each other. The top four teams will advance to a playoff, which will be played in a double-elimination format.
The season will officially begin on January 12. Then, the top teams from each Challenger League in all VCT regions will compete in the Ascension League in July for a place in the VCT 2024 and 2025.
Undoubtedly, the first few months will be crucial for Benjyfishy’s future in VALORANT. One of the most successful Fortnite players decided to make his way in this complicated esports.
