BBL Esports to make changes to its VALORANT lineup

As observed in the last hours, many teams in the VALORANT leagues of the VCT are changing their lineups due to the low performance shown so far. BBL Esports is one of them, as the organization announced that they are changing their VALORANT lineup and technical staff.

Looking at the standings and the team’s performance since the start of the 2023 VCT season, we are not surprised by these changes. The Turkish team was eliminated in the first game of the VCT LOCK//IN Sao Paulo 2023 by DRX after a 1-2 loss.

Furthermore, in the VCT EMEA League, BBL Esports is at the bottom of the table with a 0-4 record. As a result, the team has lost all five official matches it has played in this 2023 season, so changes are fully expected.

BBL Esports announces changes to its VALORANT team

Through an official statement via Twitter, the Turkish esports organization BBL Esports announced that it is changing its VALORANT team due to the poor results they have obtained so far.

Undoubtedly, the five official defeats the team has had so far are the cause of these changes in the squad. But, as we know, due to VCT regulations, adding new players to the squads during the season is impossible, so changes must be made internally.

That is why the organization announces that Arda “Epic” Yıldız will replace Berke “Vlad” Kantürk, the Head Coach of the team. In addition, BBL Esports also announced that Hüseyin “aimDLL” Kabişteke, inactive from the squad since last August 21, 2023, will travel to Berlin to join the team. This means the player will likely join the active roster for the rest of the season.
