Selin “spike” Alak, a female CS:GO player for Astralis, has finally replied to a former teammate’s s*xual assault allegations.

Prior to this, on October 8, former Astralis player Kaia “KiKi” Holmenm accused Spike of s*xual assault and shared a Twitlonger in which she described the alleged incident, which she claimed happened in May 2020 while they were both members of Astralis FE. However, as Spike tells her side of the narrative, the controversial episode seems to garner more attention.

KiKi’s claims on the alleged incident

KiKi claims that Spike persistently pursued her despite her repeated denials, making repeated physical and sexual advances at boot camp in Poland, where the two professional CS:GO players shared a room She asserts that Spike persistently bugged her despite her refusals until she finally caved in. After the kiss, according to KiKi, spike touched her improperly and continued doing so until she yelled and screamed.

The tweet gained popularity on Twitter and other social media platforms quite quickly. The majority of her supporters stood behind her as she spoke about the detrimental repercussions of sexual assault on one’s physical and emotional well-being.

Spike responds to the allegations

The Astralis player disputes the accusation of sexual assault and affirms that she did her part by requesting KiKi’s permission instead of pushing herself upon her. All the claims leveled against her by former teammate “KiKi” were thoroughly debunked by Spike.

She denied any involvement in a s*xual assault while expressing how she saw the situation between her and KiKi, labeling the accusation as pathetic and opposing KiKi’s decision to make it public. According to spike, KiKi offered her to be a roommate after she select a room for herself during BootCamp. Spike claimed that when she asked KiKi whether she was open to making out with her, KiKi had consented.

“I asked for consent both times when I initiated the “making out” and both times she said yes. I understand that she didn’t want to go all the way and I didn’t do anything physically against her will. She never shouted or kept saying no.”

Spike continued by alleging that KiKi had accepted an apology for upsetting her during a talk on TeamSpeak while two other teammates were present. This supposedly happened after the boot camp was over, according to Spike. Spike admits that she asked KiKi for making out but refuses that her actions are to be called a “s*xual assault.
