Apeks, the Norwegian esports organization, continues to give a lot to talk about in the CS:GO competitive scene, and now, after proclaiming themselves champions of the Elisa Invitational Spring 2023, they have qualified for the Elisa Masters Espoo 2023.

Apeks joins another of the sensation teams of this CS:GO 2023 season, Team GamerLegion, who managed to qualify through the Elisa Invitational Winter 2023.

There is no doubt that this 2023 season is a dream come true for the guys from Apeks, who started as just another Tier 2 team, to compete in the semifinals of the last Major in the CS:GO era, the BLAST.tv Paris Major. Moreover, this is just a taste of what awaits us in the competitive scene of the new era of Valve’s shooter, Counter-Strike 2.

Apeks qualify for Elisa Masters Espoo 2023

After a spectacular Elisa Invitational Spring 2023, where the team did not lose a single match, Apeks beat ex-CPH Flames 2-1 in the grand final to seal their ticket to the Elisa Masters Espoo 2023.

The Norwegians continue their incredible performance in this 2023 season, as they have achieved several important feats. As we mentioned, the team finished in fourth place in the Paris Major after losing to Team Vitality 0-2 in the semifinals. However, after that, they won the ESL Challenger League S45 to qualify directly for the ESL Pro League S18. Finally, the team managed to qualify for the LAN tournament that will be played in Finland and will have a prize pool of $200,000.

Apeks’ Road in the Elisa Invitational Spring 2023

Apeks started their path at the Elisa Invitational Spring 2023 from the Main Stage, where they achieved a perfect 3-0 record in the Swiss phase after defeating ENCE and HAVU Gaming 2-0 and ex-CPH Flames 2-1. As a result, Apeks qualified for the tournament playoffs in the first place.

Then, in the playoffs, Apeks continued its excellent winning streak against Sangal Esports by 2-0 in Round 1 and Into The Breach by 2-1 in the quarterfinals. Likewise, the team had their first big test of the tournament when they faced MOUZ in the semifinals, but they showed an excellent level of play to take a 2-0 victory.

Finally, the team faced ex-CPH Flames in the grand final in what would be a rematch of the tournament’s third game of the Main Stage. The Danes were much more solid this time than in the first match.

However, Apeks pulled out all the stops and showed they were still in a great moment by winning the first map (Anubis) by 16-14. Then, in Ancient, Apeks’ map pick, the former CPH were able to even the series after an excellent 16-12 victory.

Finally, Apex annihilated the Danes on Inferno with a score of 16-4 to proclaim themselves the tournament champions.
