Abu Dhabi is set to become the home of a pioneering esports hub, estimated at a cost of US$280 million. This complex is designed to cater to a full spectrum of gaming and technology-based activities, as it embraces the growing esports industry.

The esports hub is expected to serve as the ultimate destination for both professional and up-and-coming teams with state-of-the-art facilities. These include a professional training area with top-of-the-line computers, rest zones, and nutrition plans tailored for peak gamer performance. The hub also promises to nurture young talent by providing children with specialized esports camps.

Guests can further anticipate engaging attractions such as an immersive in-game inspired parachute jump entry.

The hub is segmented into four innovative zones, each presenting unique experiences:

• Tech and Business Sector – A dynamic center offering contemporary workspaces, startup incubators with the latest technology, and creative animation studios.
• Esports Stadium – This cutting-edge arena can host international esports competitions, digital showcases, and industry gatherings. The flexible space is ready for all manner of gaming events and includes a computer club, simulation areas, console zones, and a dedicated space for live streaming.
• Professional Training Camps – These facilities are tailored for esports athletes, built for intensive training in preparation for tournaments.
• Luxury Gaming Accommodation – The resort boasts 200 superior rooms, each fitted with high-end computers, alongside a wellness area, swimming pool, and beach access for visitors’ enjoyment.

Through collaborations with global esports teams, the project’s design was fine-tuned to provide an ideal training ecosystem. An extensive six-month survey solicited input from over 100 organizations and represented teams from diverse regions—including Northern and Southern America, Eastern Europe, and the MENA area—ensuring a wide range of insights.

Prominent esports entities such as Virtus.Pro, Team Spirit, and BetBoom played an instrumental role in shaping the concept by offering their expert opinions on what constitutes the perfect training environment.
