The upcoming patch 14.1 for Teamfight Tactics is set to revolutionize the game’s meta. Riot Games will be making changes to the economy and tempo of win/loss streaks, as well as the headliners of Tier 4, which are highly sought after in the late game.

One major change is that ties on the board will now count as a loss for both players, and their win/loss streak will reset to 0. Additionally, win/loss streaks will now be 3/4/5/6 instead of 2/3/4/5, with streaks of 3-4 granting +1 gold, streaks of 5 granting +2 gold, and streaks of 6 granting +3 gold. These changes will have a significant impact, especially in the early game for players who do not have the luxury of intentionally losing. There will also be adjustments to headliners, with players who have 4 or more copies of a Tier 4 champion no longer able to have it appear as a headliner, and players with 3 copies of a Tier 5 champion no longer able to have it appear as a headliner.

TFT Patch 14.1 Patch Notes

The TFT Patch 14.1 brings a host of new portals and changes in synergies. Players can now start with a Spatula, a Tactical Crown, a Support Anvil, or a Crescendo. With Decrescendo, the increases will start from Prismatic to Gold to Silver throughout the game. The players can also gain a high-cost champion twice per phase, and with 40 life points, they will receive a Radiant Blessing with incredible loot. In phase 4-7, they can choose five powerful objects in the Treasure Armory. The players can also start with a Training Dummy with three synergy emblems on it, and in each phase, they can win loot with a great variety of items. In addition, the monsters will be modified with Crabs and give bonus loot, but those in phase 5 or later are very challenging.

The synergies have also undergone some significant changes in the TFT Patch 14.1. The AD per accumulation of 8-bit has changed from 4.5/7.5/12% to 5/9/14%. The Shield Guardian’s shield capacity has increased from 25/40/60% to 25/45/70%. The Heartsteel now allows the players to choose whether to continue the streak or redeem it every four turns. If they choose to continue, the box turns golden, and they get double the hearts, but if they win a fight, they lose 50% of the total. If they lose eight rounds in a row, they get 80 bonus hearts. The base heart ratio has changed from 1/2.5/6/10x to 1/2.5/5.5/10x.
