Red Bull partners with ROKT

Last Thursday, Red Bull Racing and ROKT announced their partnership for the 2023 season. ROKT is an e-commerce company founded in 2012 that employs more than 400 people. It has offices in six countries, with the main office in New York, coincidentally located near Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez’s RB19 was unveiled.

ROKT bills itself as a “world leader in e-commerce technology.”. In addition, they also:

“Enable companies like Uber, Live Nation, AMC Theatres, PayPal, Hulu, Staples, and Lands’ End to unleash relevance in every transaction, increase revenue and acquire new customers at scale.”

The main objective of this agreement is that ROKT will sponsor the “Search for a Female Esports Pilot,”. Which is a virtual program whose objective is to recruit a female esports pilot. In other words, the goal is to recruit talented female Sim Racing drivers for the Oracle Red Bull Racing Esports team.

In addition to recruiting female Sim Racing drivers, this collaboration wants to encourage greater diversity within the industry by recruiting women “in different capacities.” All this is to make Sim Racing a much more welcoming space for female gamers.

“We’re thrilled to add ROKT as a Team Partner and we very much look forward to working together to bring a more diverse workforce into the sport and into the sim racing world.”

“ROKT is committed to promoting diversity and empowering women. This, both within its own organization and in society at large. In addition, we are proud to be working together to launch a virtual recruitment program for female esports pilots. This is an extraordinary initiative as part of our new partnership.”
