Play free Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer for a limited time only

The release of Reloaded this week comes with a free trial of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer; as part of the second season. The free trial period is for five days.

With this new release, COD players will be able to learn about the new features that will be included, such as new maps, weapons, and extra content that will be available.

New content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Today, March 15, both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 will receive new content for Season 2 with the Reloaded update. In addition, as we already mentioned, COD players can take a free trial of some multiplayer game types.

However, although this trial does not give access to the entire game, they will be able to get to know several game modes, including the cooperative raid episode.

With this free trial, Activision is looking for people who have not yet been convinced to buy the game to give it a try.

The free trial will be available to all users who have a PC or the following consoles:

• PS4
• PS5
• Xbox One
• Xbox X|S Series

All players who wish to test the game have time from March 16 to 20. Then, they will be able to enjoy new game modes, a new map Himmelmatt Expo, and the shooting weapon Tempus Torrent.

On the other hand, there is more material that people can access in the free trial, such as Special Ops Raid Episode 1, which debuted in December. However, this game mode has a limitation due to its matchmaking and will only be playable in a group of three players in the standard mode.

However, Infinity Ward has confirmed this through a post published on the shooter franchise’s official blog; with its restrictions, this free trial does not grant access to the entire game.

Contents of the free trial

Basic maps (6v6): Farm 18, Las Almas Market, Shipment, Dome, and Himmelmatt Expo (new map included in the Season 2 Reloaded update).

Basic modes: Domination, One in the chamber, Confirmed kill, Team deathmatch, All or nothing, and many more.

Battle Maps: Santa Seña

Battle map modes: Ground Warfare, Invasion

Special Ops: Atomgrad – Special Ops Raid (standard difficulty only)
