Olga “Olga” Rodriguez, considered one of the world’s best female CS:GO players, has decided to take an unexpected and surprising leap in her career. From now on, we will see the Brazilian competing under the colors of the TOP1 team in the women’s CS:GO scene in China, HaoShengGaming.

This is a genuinely unexpected move on Olga’s part, as it is worth noting that China does not have an ESL Impact League division as it does in Europe, NA, and SA. In addition, the Brazilian is expected to substantially improve her stats as she will be playing fewer games from now on.

Olga leaves FURIA and joins HaoShengGaming

On March 9, HaoShengGaming announced on its Twitter account the signing of Olga “Olga” Rodriguez, one of the world’s best female CS:GO players.

According to different information, negotiations had been ongoing for the last few days, and Olga herself asked to leave the Brazilian organization. In the 2022 season, Olga was FURIA’s best player, with a rating of 1.39, according to HLTV. However, despite the 28-year-old Brazilian’s great performances, her team could never beat Nigma Galaxy, the world’s best women’s CS:GO, team.

FURIA faced Nigma Galaxy in three ESL Impact League finals in 2022, and all three fell to Nigma. In addition, in 2023, the Brazilians lost again to the Russians in the semifinals of the ESL Impact Katowice.

About Olga

Brazilian Olga “Olga” Rodriguez is a Brazilian CS:GO player ranked as one of the best in the world. Olga joined FURIA in 2021 and quickly became the team’s star, thanks to her excellent skills and performance in every game.

FURIA’s female lineup was getting stronger and stronger, and they managed to win all the women’s competitions played in South America. On the other hand, thanks to Olga, FURIA achieved their best result in the women’s CS:GO scene, as they were runners-up in the world. The Brazilians came close to winning a championship several times, but their nemesis, Nigma Galaxy, prevented them from doing so.

Now, after being the pillar of the organization, Olga decides it is time to give her professional career a new lease of life and take a giant leap to a new organization, country, and continent.

Is there a reason why Olga decided to leave FURIA?

Well, many might think it’s economic issues and the like. However, it is worth noting that Olga has the opportunity to play in the RMR qualifiers for the BLAST.tv PARIS Major, as HaoSheng Gaming does not have a men’s team.

This is Olga’s golden opportunity to prove that her level of play is equal to or even superior to any male player in the scene. In addition, with her help, she could help the Chinese team participate in a CS:GO Major that has historically been dominated by men.

From Fragster, we wish Olga the best of luck in this new foray in her career and hope to see her competing shortly on the top-level CS:GO competitive servers.
