The VALORANT lineups are changing wildly after Riot Games announced their VCT partner teams, with many teams having to act and either take players or let them go. While NRG tries to get ardiis, the Sentinels kick their coach Rawkus.
Currently, there are multiple reports that NRG is about to bring 24-year-old Latvian pro player Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks to their VALORANT lineup.
NRG plans to sign ardiis
NRG is reportedly in advanced talks to bring in Latvian player ardiis, whose current home organization FunPlus Phoenix, just like TSM and G2, didn’t manage to get one of the VALORANT partner spots for the international EMEA Valorant league. Now, NRG is said to seek to rebuild its lineup with the ex-OpTic core players. Ardiis will complete the team while Sam “s0m” Oh will remain the only member of the previous roster in the lineup.
Ardiis has long had a reputation as one of the best players in Europe, where he has played for several different organizations including G2. However, he is best known for his time with his last team, FunPlus Phoenix. He joined FPX in December last year and helped his team win the VCT Masters in Copenhagen.
Sources: NRG is hopeful of signing ardiis to the VALORANT roster.
Partnered teams are allowed one import to their roster.
FPX, who will soon join Na'Vi, is trialing replacements.

NRG players need to make way for OpTic
NRG recently announced that they are parting ways with four of their players to make room for OpTic’s lineup. Players James “hazed” Cobb, Daniel “eeiu” Vucenovic, Ian “tex” Botsch, and coach Ethan Arnold, are all now free agents looking for new homes. The international leagues in EMEA, Americas, and Asia will start next year with a kick-off event in February.
Sentinels say goodbye to Rawkus
There’s been a lot going on in the Sentinels lately. The team first made headlines when they added popular streamer Mike “Shroud” Grzesiek to their lineup. Now, there are changes again. The organization has parted ways with Coach Shane “Rawkus” Flaherty and instead brought in Don “SyykoNT” Muir to fill the head coach spot. Furthermore, Adam “kaplan” Kaplan is new to the role of assistant coach.
It was no easy task but you were up for the challenge. We appreciate your hard work and everything you've contributed to Sentinels, thank you coach @Rawkus

New coaches SykkoNT and Kaplan
SyykoNT was previously with XSET, but after the entire lineup was let go as the organization didn’t make it into the Valorant franchised league, players and coach were allowed to look for new teams and SyykoNT has now ended up with Sentinels.
There may well be more changes to the Sentinels lineup in the near future. Both Tyson “TenZ” Ngo and Shahzeb “ShahZaM” Khan’s contracts are about to expire and it is yet to be known whether they will be renewed or whether the players will look for new teams.
