After many changes in 2021 and early 2022, the team consolidated with a newly formed roster that revolves around the team’s star player, Spain veteran SaturnzZ.
About Nova Esports
The Nova Esports team first entered the European Call of Duty Mobile scene on May 22, 2021. This team started its journey in a big way, winning numerous small-scale third-party events in Europe. The team can be said to have had a dream run in 2021, finishing on the podium in almost every event they competed in.
The professional team from China also secured first place in the COD Mobile Masters: Europe 2021, thanks to which they qualified for the World Championship: West Finals.
But not everything was easy for them, and the team struggled in the championship with the best teams from the Western region. As a result, Nova Esports could only manage one victory in five matches, finishing in ninth place in the 2021 World Championship.
The team’s performance in 2022 was still decent at the regional level, but their lack of perfection and dominance in 2021 was clearly noticeable.
Nova Esports finished as the second-best team in Europe in Phase 4: European Finals and qualified for the 2022 World Championship. The team was paired with three other top-tier squads in Group D, where the team lost its opening and elimination matches.
Not the ending we had hoped for our #CoDMobile team but it has been a learning experience for the team. Coming back stronger next year!

After the list was published, each player’s future remains to be seen. At the same time, the development of Nova Esports in the COD Mobile scene will also be of great interest.
So far, the game’s roadmap for 2023 has not been announced. However, North American teams swept the world circuit in 2022, and this year several experienced squads are aiming for the same.
