NIP sign aiM to complete their women’s CS:GO lineup

After spending three months in free agency, Mia “aiM” Cooper signs with NIP Impact to complete their women’s CS:GO lineup for this legendary esports organization.

This is another great move by NiP as they reaffirm their commitment to women’s CS:GO this fall season. Furthermore, adding aiM can be instrumental in improving the team’s performance in the ESL Impact League S4.

Through a statement on its Twitter account, NiP announced the signing of Mia “aiM” Cooper to its women’s CS:GO lineup, NiP Impact.

The British rifler arrives at the Swedish organization after being in free agency for the last three months, so she will have a period of adaptation before the ESL Impact League S4 starts.

About aiM

aiM is only 21 years old, and before joining NiP and entering free agency, she played under the Flames Shieldmaidens banner. However, the organization released her after they filed for bankruptcy in May 2023.

On the other hand, the signing of aiM fits the organization like a glove, as they had been looking for more than a month for a high-level player who could replace Paulie “pauliiee” Barazani, who was sent to the team’s bench at the beginning of June.

While experience at the top competitive level of CS:GO is somewhat scarce for the 21-year-old, it’s worth noting that, this 2023, she performed well at ESL Impact S3. Playing with Flames Shieldmaidens, she was one of the best players on the team, leading them to finish between 9th-10th place; in addition, she scored 1.03, according to HLTV.

Anton “ToH1o” Georgiev said in an interview with HLTV that the options on the market were scarce, as the vast majority, if not all, of the best female CS:GO players belong to one organization. However, they are very happy with the signing of aiM, as they consider her a girl with great talent, good aim, and who knows how to work in a team.

ESL Impact League S4

As we mentioned, NiP will have their next adventure in the ESL Impact League S4 when they try to surpass their performance from the previous season, where they finished between 5th-6th place. Also, the tournament will officially start online next September 13, 2023, so this lineup has plenty of time to prepare for the tournament. On the other hand, it is worth noting that, out of the 12 teams participating in the ESL Impact League S4 Europe, only three will have the privilege of competing in the final that will be played on LAN in Valencia, Spain, at the end of 2023.
