OverActive Media, the parent organization of the popular Spanish esports team MAD Lions, announces its foray into the women’s scene by signing a VALORANT roster for Game Changers.

The roster signed by MAD Lions comprises five all-Spanish players who will play under the name Mad Lions Laurë in VALORANT Game Changers.

MAD Lions unveils VALORANT women’s lineup

Last March 29, MAD Lions announced on its Twitter account the signing of a female roster for its VALORANT team that will compete in the Game Changers called MAD Lions Laurë.

There is no doubt that with this new foray into the VALORANT scene, this time female, MAD Lions, it bets and has a lot of confidence in the VALORANT tactical shooter. However, this is not an astonishment for anyone, as other large organizations have decided to venture into the scene in recent months.

Moreover, this is thanks to the exponential growth VALORANT has seen since its launch in 2020. Now, with the interest of many top-tier organizations in the women’s scene, Game Changers is expected to have much more notoriety in the global esports scene.

The MAD Lions Laurë lineup is as follows:

  • Monica “moniovess” Oves Silva
  • Laia “MissLaia” Miralles Brull
  • Alessia “Alessia” Crisafo Norte
  • Lucia “Nahashi” Mata Vergara
  • Nicole “Nidxvilco” Dobrovolskyy Shved
  • Jedry – Head Coach

MAD Lions is betting big on VALORANT

Two months ago, MAD Lions announced its entry into the VALORANT scene by signing the entire lineup of the former Dark Ratio team. This team has since competed under MAD Lions VALORANT in the VCT 2023 NA Challengers League.

The results of this team in the Challengers scene have been mixed and, for many, inexplicable. However, it is expected that as the weeks go by, the team will continue to improve to fight to be at the top of the region and thus continue with the dream of playing in the VCT Ascension League.

On the other hand, the first big test for the MAD Lions Laurë girls will come from April 5 to 9, 2023, in just four days. After that, the team will compete in the Game Changers Open Qualifications, where they must give their all to win four heats, all best-of-three (BO3), to qualify.

However, the task will be difficult for the MAD Lions Laurë girls. While they know each other well after playing together at Nyme Warriors, they must overcome a 128-team qualifier. Also, these girls have had experience competing in the VCT Game Changers scene, so this could be a plus for them now.

Likewise, they will now have much more organizational support as they belong to a top-tier organization. But, on the other hand, the girls will try to show a high level against the best VALORANT players in the EMEA region, as there are a lot of expectations around.
