The movements in the different esports organizations around the world continue. This time, we have one of the most popular teams in the League of Legends scene, PSG Talon, which has just announced the signing of a former world champion.
After establishing himself for most of his professional career in the LoL scene with EDG, superstar jungler Yu “JunJia” Chun-Chia, returns to PCS to play under the PSG Talon banner.

PSG Taon takes advantage of the last transfer window to make changes to its lineup for this 2023 season. However, this does not stop there, as PSG Talon, a team that belongs to the PCS Division of League of Legends, announced that it reached an agreement with EDG of the LPL to incorporate the jungler JunJia, which surprised many fans.

There is no doubt that PSG Talon has just made a big hit on the table. While all the teams in the different regions of the world are once and for all locking down their Spring Split lineups, this PSG surprised everyone by signing former World Champion, JunJia.
Yu “JunJia” Chun-Chia, one of the icons of the super powerful EDward Gaming and 2021 World Champion, becomes the sixth PSG Talon player to play the 2023 PCS season. With the signing of JunJia, the team’s lineup is as follows:
- Huang “Azhi Shang-chih – Top
- Huang “Husha” Zi-wei – Jungle
- Yu “JunJia” Chun-chia – Jungle
- Chen “Ubao” Chang-chu – Mid
- Tsou “Wako” Wei-yang – Bot
- Lin “Woody” Hung-yu – Support
PSG Talon wants to return to the top
After an unexpected and disappointing 2022 season, they cleaned the slate by completely revamping the squad. The players selected for this lineup were purely local talents. All this is because the organization failed to qualify for the 2022 Worlds.
This was the first time in three years that the Hong Kong team did not participate in Worlds. Also, it was the first time since Talon Esports became PSG Talon after the partnership with the French football club in the Summer Split 2020.
Currently, PSG Talon is fourth on the overall leaderboard with a record of 4 wins and two losses, just one game out of first place. Their losses have been to Frank Esports and Impunity.

About JunJia
The pro career of this former world champion started in 2018, playing under the SuperEsports banner, a team he belonged to for about a year before joining EDG. But unfortunately, this great player was never able to show his full potential because he was always accompanied and sharing the spot with Zhao “Jiejie” Lijie, the team’s starting Jungler.
JunJia is among the most recognized players in the League of Legends community, thanks to his outstanding performance in the solo queue. As a result, he reached Rank 1 in both the South Korean and European rankings. But this player has not yet shown the potential that we see him on online servers in a professional setting.
In PSG Talon JunJia will also share the Jungler position with Husha. However, he is expected to get more opportunities in the PCS scene.
