Riot Games has announced that VALORANT will soon receive a series of skins causing a sensation through social networks. While it is true that these skins are always really amazing, this time, it seems that they are a copy or a tribute to CS:GO weapons.
The VALORANT Black Market Bundle will be available from April 12, when the game’s patch 6.07 is released.
Riot Games announces the VALORANT Black Market Bundle
On April 10, Riot Games announced, through a video, how all the Black Market Bundle skins will look like in VALORANT.

As we can see, we will have the Vandal, Classic, Bulldog, and a butterfly melee available. Each weapon will have a special skin in this release, and the most interesting thing about the update is that it will change depending on the side where you are playing, the defensive or attacking side.
Looking in detail at the clip published on Twitter by Riot Games, all the weapons in the Bundle strongly resemble certain CS:GO weapons. We mainly refer to the AK-47, the Glock, and the FAMAS. Because of this, the comments from the community about the design of the weapons and their great similarities with those of its main competitor, CS:GO, have not been long in coming.

And the fans are not wrong at all. The skins are practically the same as the CS:GO weapons, including the package’s colors, theme, and branding.

Tarik joins the debate
After Riot released the contents of the Black Market Bundle via Twitter, VALORANT content creator and former professional CS:GO player Tarik “Tarik” Celik referred to VALORANT’s new Black Market bundle as CS skins.
In addition, the weapons’ characteristics that they have a look for the attacking and defensive side makes them much more similar to CS:GO. Recall that in Valve’s shooter, on the T-side, you can buy the AK-47, and on the CT side, the M4 in any of its presentations.
Black Market Bundle – Details
As mentioned, VALORANT’s Black Market Bundle will arrive next April 12, 2023, with the game’s update 6.07. Also, the skins it will bring are for the following weapons:
- Bulldog
- Vandal
- Marshal
- Classic
- Butterfly Knife Melee
As for this package’s price, nothing has been officially published yet. However, considering some previous presentations, it can be estimated to cost between 5,100 and 7,100 VP.
But what are the similarities between the skins and CS:GO?
If we look in detail, the Bulldog skin is practically the same aspect of the FAMAS in CS:GO. On the other hand, the Classic can be compared to the Glock, while the Vandal is the default AK-47. Also, the Butterfly Knife Melee is similar to that in CS:GO.
