The last match played on the first day of the BLAST Fall European Showdown 2023 was between ENCE and Alliance, where the ENCE boys managed to maintain their excellent level of play to take a solid and convincing 2-0 victory.

There is no doubt that this was the expected result in this series, as it is no secret that ENCE is one of the most consistent teams today. However, as happened in the Americas with Party Astronauts’ victory over Imperial Esports, anything can happen.

In the same way, ENCE does nothing but ratify that, today, they are one of the best Counter-Strike teams in the world. Moreover, this is also a small sign that the team is fully prepared to kick off the CS2 competitive era in style.

Now, without further ado, let’s see what happened in the match between ENCE and Alliance in the BLAST Fall European Showdown 2023 quarterfinals.

ENCE steamrolls past Alliance to advance to the next stage of the tournament

The only result that was clear before the start of this series came out perfectly, as ENCE annihilated Alliance 2-0 to seal their ticket to the semifinals. Similarly, even though the series ended 2-0, Alliance showed some signs of brilliance that momentarily worried ENCE. However, the international squad had Guy “NertZ” Iluz and Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia at their best to lead them to victory.

The series took place at Ancient and Vertigo.

Ancient

It all started at Ancient, Alliance’s map pick, where we had a back-and-forth match in which either team could have taken the win. However, the ENCE boys prevailed to win by 16-13.

In the first half, ENCE was surprised by Alliance’s offense but still managed to take the partial victory by 8-7. In the first 15 rounds, Alliance’s Arvid “avid” Åberg put ENCE’s defense to the test.

Then, when the sides changed, things stayed the same, as the teams began to split the rounds until round 14. Finally, ENCE managed to win the last rounds to take the victory 16-13.

Vertigo

Then, at Vertigo, ENCE’s map pick, things changed radically, as this time, they made their presence felt with all their arsenal to take a solid 16-6 victory.

In the first half, ENCE’s offense, led by Paweł “dycha” Dycha, achieved a resounding 11-4 victory that undoubtedly gave them confidence for the rest of the map. Finally, at the change of sides, ENCE’s defense repelled Alliance’s attacks to seal their victory with a resounding score of 16-6.
