The Qiddiya City Gaming & Esports Project is part of a massive entertainment project sponsored by the PIF to help Saudi Arabia continue to gain a foothold in the esports world. The project aims to build a huge esports entertainment center in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia.

Now some new executives have joined the project, including Musaad Aldossary, chairman of Team Falcon and Joachim Haraldsen, the founder of Heroic. Mike Milanov, the former CEO of Team Liquid, has also joined the project.

A few days ago, Mike Milanov announced on social media that he would be joining Qiddiya Gaming as CEO. The aim is to build a gaming and esports district in Saudi Arabia. The project is set to be huge; apparently even 11 times the size of the Tokyo Dome.

Huge esports project planned

The district is to measure 500,000 square meters and is to be located in the middle of Qiddiya City. There will be four large buildings with space for up to 73,000 spectators in total. But that’s not all – in a few years’ time, there will even be space for 10 million visitors.

It’s a pretty bold plan, as it would make Qiddiya Gaming probably the largest esports venue in the world. In addition to gaming, there will also be restaurants, shopping malls and other forms of entertainment. No wonder, as Saudi Arabia has set itself the goal of becoming the most important player in the esports industry worldwide.

Qiddiya Entertainment City is a major project that will offer visitors a range of entertainment options. The city will have theme parks, water parks, sports facilities and cultural facilities. The gaming and esports district is an important part of the project and will be a center for the esports industry in the region. The PIF has partnered with several leaders in the gaming industry to develop the district, including Populous, a global architecture firm that has designed a glowing esports arena for the city.

SA wants to dominate esports

The esports industry is booming worldwide and Saudi Arabia is keen to tap into this growing market. The PIF’s investment in the gaming and esports district is a clear sign of the country’s commitment to the industry. The district is expected to create a significant number of jobs and attract investment to the region. With world-class facilities being developed in the entertainment city of Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia is poised to become a major player in the esports industry.

Msdossary, a professional FIFA player and owner of Team Falcons, is also involved in the Qiddiya city project as chairman. He is likely to play a key role in the development of esports initiatives within the project.

The involvement of esports industry professionals such as Msdossary and Haraldsen in the Qiddiya City project underlines the growing importance of esports in the entertainment industry. Their expertise is likely to help the project develop innovative and engaging esports initiatives that will attract a wide audience.
