Brian “BSJ” Canavan is an accomplished Dota 2 content creator who has been coaching people for a long time. Being a 10.000 MMR player, he’s obviously really good at the game. For many years, he tried to be a successful professional player but his North American teams always let him down.

He quickly made a career switch and became an analyst, a streamer, and a coach. This career path proved to be more suitable for him, as he has a natural ability to convey complex Dota 2 notions in simple words. He also provides numerous examples, which makes every one of his videos extremely valuable for a lot of players.

BSJ’s new Dota 2 team

Apart from being a streamer for Team Liquid, BSJ decided to join Fart Studios in December last year. Nobody knows for sure why, but he did. At the age of 30, most players retire from the game. They switch to streaming and hope that at least a handful of fans will continue to watch them compete.

But BSJ stepped into the ring, even though he had been out of it for many years. His odds of doing well this time are not great, but fortunately for him, his team will compete in Division II of North America, where there is very little competition.

BJS’s main opponents will be The Cut and Team DogChamp. Both of them are quite experienced but it’s doubtful that he won’t find a way to win the direct confrontations.

If everything goes according to plan, Fart Studios will compete in Division I in Tour 2 of Dota Pro Circuit 2023. In order for that to happen, BSJ will need to finish in the top two.

One of his teammates is Andrew “Jenkins” Jenkins. This is another famous analyst, player, and content creator from the North American region. However, he too is nearly 30 years old, so it’s completely bizarre that he decided to form a team together with BSJ and start competing again.

The two of them took part in the Open Qualifiers and then in the Closed Qualifier and were successful, which clearly proves that BSJ is as good as he seems to be when he explains to people the secrets of the game.

Fart Studios will compete in Tour 1 between January 30 – February 19. This year, Valve decided to have the two divisions run sequentially, so that the Dota 2 community can enjoy both of them.
