All you need to know about the 2023 Mobile Gaming Awards

The 2023 Mobile Gaming Awards (Mobies), which honor exceptional performers and contributors in the mobile gaming sector, have officially published their list of nominees.

The first Mobies 2023 award ceremony, which is geared towards the mobile gaming and esports industries, will take place on July 14 in Los Angeles, California. The award event will honor iconic individuals and contributions to the mobile esports sector with a variety of awards in a number of categories. There are seven games up for nomination for the most notable category of the event, the Competitive Game of the Year 2023, including well-known games like Free Fire, PUBG Mobile, Honor of Kings, and MLBB.

 

The most nominations for awards have gone to the well-known games PUBG MOBILE and Brawl Stars, which are both contenders for Mobile Game of the Year, Competitive Game of the Year, and Mobile Esports Tournament of the Year. On the other side, Mobile Legends Bang Bang is unquestionably one of the most popular games in Southeast Asia with a sizable and devoted fanbase and flourishing esports ecosystem.

PUBG Mobile has captured the attention of millions of gamers globally, thanks to numerous regional and international esports competitions that Tencent and Krafton have hosted in recent years with sizable prize pools. Along with other categories, there are awards for Mobile App of the Year, Mobile Team of the Year, and Mobile Developer of the Year.

Additionally, the award features a number of categories where users can vote for their preferred mobile apps, games, players, and creators from around the world who have been nominated. Voting for the categories can be done on the official Mobies 2023 website once every 24 hours through June 30. The award night will also feature the Breakout Game of the Year award, the winner of which will only be announced live on stage by the panel.
