Crossovers and collaborations in games can bring a huge boost to the player base and Fortnite is one of the most prominent examples of this. The title is known for frequent collaborations, which, besides numerous in-game skin series, previously also included online music concerts with stars such as Ariana Grande and Travis Scott.
Because they can be so exciting to many players, here’s everything we know about future Fortnite collaborations.
New Icon Series skin
Fortnite continues to support its content creators by expanding the skin collection called Icon Series, which features popular streamers like Bugha, Ali-A, Ninja, and TheGrefg. Moreover, the collection also includes stars of professional sports disciplines, like tennis champion Naomi Osaka.
Fortnite recently announced a new addition to the series — Patrick Mahomes, the American football quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). The developers released a trailer where the player transforms into a gladiator and enters the Fornite world. The Patrick Mahomes set, which includes Patrick Mahomes Outfit, Gladiator Mindset Style, Gridiron, Gladiator Back Bling, Snap Axes Pickaxe, Endzone Elite Wrap, and Showtime Emote, is now available in Fortnite in-game shop.
New leaks about possible crossovers
Fortnite has previously collaborated with plenty of famous franchises like Star Wars, Marvel, Dragon Ball, and Naruto, so basically, many players can get the skins with their favorite characters as well as other related cosmetic effects. This is undoubtedly one of the factors that draw players towards the popular battle royale.
The next Fortnite Season comes in September 2022 and it seems like Epic Games is already preparing something interesting for the players. To understand what users want to see, the developers held an investigation survey, according to one of the most prominent Fortnite leakers HYPEX. On his Twitter, HYPEX revealed that the last review included categories related to celebrities, TV Shows, and videogames, and participants were supposed to share their interests in each category.
"Gustavo Fring (Breaking Bad)" is actually mentioned in Fortnite's latest Survey 😭

According to the leaks, the survey mentioned Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, Dead by Daylight, Miles Morales, Black Adam, Breaking Bad, and even TikTok stars like Khaby Lame and Charli D’Amelio. We must consider that such a survey doesn’t fully guarantee that all the characters will appear in the next season or in the game ever. For now, Epic is seemingly just testing the waters to see what’s more appealing to the fans and what to prioritize.
However, fans have already shared excitement around Breaking Bad going to Fortnite and already made some concepts of the TV series characters. What’s more, this would not be the first case when Epic added film characters to the game, one of the examples is or John Wick from the movie of the same name.
