Cloud9 has completed its League of Legends roster, with the latest change being an utter moment of happiness for the fans. Jensen will join the roster as a mid-laner for the upcoming League Championship Series, the organization announced on Twitter.

Cloud9 confirmed the signing of its former veteran player, Nicolaj “Jensen” Jensen, who parted ways with the team in late 2018. After missing the recent LCS Spring Split, the Danish mid-laner will be in action again in the upcoming LCS Summer 2022.

Jensen’s esports journey has seen its ups, as well as downs. On the downside, he served a two-year ban from 2013 to 2015 due to abusive behaviour and poor sportsmanship. Since his return, however, he achieved multiple milestones, including two consecutive LCS Champions titles in 2019 LCS Spring with Cloud9 and LCS Summer with Team Liquid.

Jensen was also voted onto the first team of the NA LCS Summer All-Pro Teams in 2017, beating Bjergsen by two points. In total, he picked up 10 All-pro team awards in his entire career, including four first-team All-Pro.

C9’s reshuffle brings more changes to the roster as Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami moves back to the top lane. Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen is also making a comeback to the main roster after spending an entire season with the C9 Academy team in the role of AD carry.

Despite having a rough season with the two rookies Kim “Berserker” Min-cheol and Kim “Winsome” Dong-keon, the team is now looking strong as the old veterans are back. While other elite League of Legends teams are competing in the currently ongoing MSI 2022, Cloud9 has enough time to practice for the upcoming LCS 2022 Summer Split.
