Valorant Maintenance Today: Everything You Need To Know

Riot Games tactical shooter Valorant is out of action while the devs work on the big patch, version 6.08. Like most online games, Valorant will have scheduled downtimes and server maintenance to deliver updates, new features, and gameplay tweaks. With patch 6.08 bringing a fresh battle pass, map rotations, agent adjustments, and more, players will need to brace for some downtime. 

Here are all the key details about the upcoming Valorant maintenance period for patch 6.08:

Valorant Maintenance Start & End Times 

Riot is shutting down servers worldwide, so the competitive queue in the game won’t be accessible until Tuesday, April 25, at 2:00 PM PDT, when the upcoming Valorant maintenance is set to begin and end at 5:00 PM EDT.

Maintenance downtimes can vary but generally range from 4-6 hours. Based on previous patches, Valorant servers should be back online by around 6: 00 PM PDT (9: 00 PM EDT) on 25 April.

When players try to launch Valorant during the maintenance window they will most likely get an Unable to Start Game (Error Code 46) or Valorant Servers Offline (Error 84). The game will remain completely unavailable until maintenance is completed.

Is Valorant Down Right Now?

At the time of writing, Valorant servers are still online as maintenance has not begun yet. However, as mentioned above, downtime will initiate on April 25th at 2 PM PDT / 5 PM EDT across all regions.

Players can check the current server status directly through the Valorant client or on the official Riot Games server status website. This page will list any Live Issues as well as scheduled maintenance periods.
