Former CLG Red roster to play for Moist Moguls at VCT Game Changers NA Series 1

The team in charge of representing the Moist Moguls jersey for the VCT Game Changers NA Series 1 is the former CLG squad.

The team representing the CLG organization at VALORANT will no longer be part of the organization. Their new home will be temporarily at Moist Moguls. This team managed to qualify while still part of the organization; therefore, they can participate in the Game Changers, although it will be in a different jersey.

A few days ago, it was announced that NRG had bought Counter Logic Gaming; thanks to this purchase, the team can be part of the LCS again. The entire LoL staff keeps their jobs. However, the other teams of the various CLG esports did not suffer the same fate and were laid off.

Among the layoffs currently known among workers and players is the female CS:GO staff and the VALORANT team.

The dismissal of the CLG staff has presented an opportunity for Ludwig, the owner of Moist Moguls. The tycoon has not let this incredible opportunity pass him by and has moved to make this team part of his organization.

Moist Moguls sign the CLG Red squad

Two days ago, Ludwig released the news in a video that Moist Moguls lacked the resources to acquire an entire team of athletes. However, he also stated that his organization would sign the entire team representing CLG, which had recently been dismissed.

For now, the team will represent Moist Moguls at the North American VCT; the event starts on April 11.

On the other hand, Ludwig comments that after being fired, the team came to him looking for support to participate in the event to which they were already qualified; however, he assures that he is committed to helping them after the tournament.

Ludwig affirms that for the time being, his organization will pay them a salary for participating in this competition; then, he will help them find a new home. On the other hand, Ludwig comments that this move was unexpected for the organization, but he believes that not supporting these athletes was inappropriate.

In addition, Ludwig is aware of the expense of maintaining two staff for VALORANT and Zain, the best player in Melee. However, Ludwig states that he knows the budget he can spend. To end his video, Ludwig said funnily that his organization discards the idea of entering to compete in the LCS, as he claims that in Moist, they are just two people who make videos on YouTube where they comment on some dramas and earn a lot of money.
