Thailand (January 25) – Wisdom Community (WDC) announced that it is disbanding its premier Call of Duty: Mobile squads effective January 24.

In a statement posted on its Facebook page, WDC says it is disbanding its current teams, WDC Freeslot and the all-girls WDC Xenon, and is putting an “indefinite” end to its participation in competitive CODM.

No reason was given behind the disbandment so far, but WDC thanked all those who supported the organization.

“For over 4 years in the CODM scene, the organization started with a promising team, evolving from generation to generation, eventually becoming the number 1 in the country. With numerous awards and representing the country in every competition, the club wants to express gratitude to the athletes and staff who have been a part of WDC. Thank you for your dedication in your roles, as well as the friendships built throughout. What cannot be overlooked is the appreciation for the lovely fan club that has supported us greatly,” WDC said in its Facebook post.

Certain players from the WDC banner will remain under the WDC management as influencers, including Biscuitx and Missjane. The WDC Xenon team will participate in the CODM Clash SEA tournament, the last under the WDC banner.

WDC is one of Thailand’s premier esports teams, launched in 2015. Its CODM division started in 2021.
