We continue with the different guides to complete the different missions or contracts within the new DMZ game mode of Warzone 2. This time, we will explain how and where to use the Sunken Ship Captains Cache key quickly and easily.

As you know, in Al Mazrah, countless POIs await players with the essential loot or will be the scenarios of battles between squads. Unfortunately, despite Al Mazrah’s vastness, not all buildings or containers are accessible to players from the start of the game.

For that, you need some specific key that you can get in many places in Al Mazrah, either by looting AI fighters you have defeated, in chests or containers or after completing contracts and missions.

Sunken Ship Captains Cache

The Sunken Ship Captains Cache is one of the most challenging locations in Al Mazrah to access. While AI fighters do not defend this location, the specific cache location is remote and only accessible to those who appear south of Al Mazrah.

However, to find the chest here’s all you need to know.

Sunken Ship Captains Cache – Location

To find the exact location of the Sunken Ship Captains Cache, players should head to the coast south of Al Mazrah. This is marked by a sunken ship on the tactical map.

It is in the southernmost part of the map and is easily spotted due to the wrecked ship. Also, when you get to the site, you will notice that it is partially submerged, meaning it is sticking out of the water.

Below, we will show you the exact location of the Sunken Ship Captains Cache.

Once you swim to the “sunken” ship, or if you got a boat and get there faster, enter through the back and go up to the upper deck.

You should enter the first door on the right and see a highlighted bag floating in the water. In addition to the Sunken Ship Captains Cache, players will find other bags and chests to loot that do not require keys to open.

This sunken ship is home to several key locations, including Deckhand’s Lockbox, located at the bottom of the ship. So if you’re lucky enough to have this key, this dark room can provide you with considerable loot when you start the game.

Unlike other locations in DMZ mode, you won’t have to worry about AI combatants at all.

After that, you will have completed this side mission in Warzone 2 DMZ mode. You should go to the nearest extraction point as soon as possible to finish the game.

As we always recommend, open your tactical map at the moment of deployment and immediately locate the POI you want to visit. Then look for a vehicle or a helicopter to move in the fastest and, above all, safest way.
